Golf Day 2023
The Annual Old Loughtonians Golf Day took place on Monday 15th May 2023, at Chigwell Golf Club where we had 15 Old Loughtonian players and guests.
We meet at 9:00 o’clock for bacon rolls and tea/coffee and the first 4 ball teed of at 10.20 under the guidance of our starter David Miller.
As we were a comparatively small group we all waited for a late lunch of Ham Egg & Chips and the prizegiving.
The overall winner was Billy Bennett (1964) with 31 points and was awarded the Old Loughtonian Golf Cup. The runner up was David Datson (guest) with 30 points & Chris Trowbridge also with 30 points (was 3rd on count-back)
It was a most enjoyable day and the date for 2024 is Monday 13th May 2024
