2018 Wreath Laying

MTwreath1 1

On Sunday 10th November the President and several members marched down Church Hill to the Loughton War Memorial for the formal laying of wreaths. Pastor Roland Brown (1955) of Forest Hill Church read the first lesson which was from John 15: chapters 9-17.

Various dignitaries laid wreaths lead by the Member of Parliament, Mrs Eleanor Laing as well as our President Michael Lane. After the service of remembrance we walked back to the Royal British Legion in Church Hill and enjoyed a buffet lunch and liquid refreshment.
