Clay Pigeon Shoot 2019
18 members & guests took part in the annual Clay Pigeon Shoot on Tuesday 4th June 2019!
William Alldis (Michael’s Son) has now taken over the shooting school as well as The Cart Shed Restaurant ( although the restaurant is still being refitted after the fire!)
We therefore started with a cook breakfast, as usual, at Weald Park Place on the same site as the restaurant and is owned by William’s Mother Isabel.
The shooting took place in two groups and while one group were shooting the clay’s the other group took part in an Air Gun competition, and fly fishing for those who wanted to.
This was followed by a splendid lunch of roast beef followed by apple & rhubarb crumble all washed down with a selection of red or white wine.
Charlie Freeman( a young man, who plays in the Spurs Academy) won both the Clay & Air Gun prize and the OLA Cup Base went the Steve Crosby (1985).
