The subscriptions and donations which are still healthy although year on year they are decreasing, you will note that in 2022/23 we had £1,831 and in the year 2023/24 these reduced to £1,616, this in some part due to the sad loss of members and unfortunately this will continue but it has to be said considering how long the school has been closed, we still are able to have a dinner with nearly 60 ex pupils.
The dinner has shown a surplus of £92:00 which by good management by Malcolm, as it was sailing close to the wind which is why we increased the cost to £45 per head.
All outings & activities made profits, but we had had a Legal Fee of £238 in respect of advice & wording that we presented to the hockey club regarding the £5,00:00 loan.
With regard to the cost of the website we were able to take advantage of a reduction if we paid for two years at cost of £238:00 and our thanks to Stefan for all his hard work.
You will notice that we have ended the year with a surplus to the General Fund of £10:00
The Treasurers report was proposed by Derrick Wallace and seconded by Richard Oakman and unanimously agreed
After the Treasurers report a lengthy discussion took place with regard to The Old School Room, the loan to the hockey club, as well as some members suggesting that if the room was rented out when not in use that the Association should receive 25% of any income,
